Lady Flashes defeat Clinton Christian Academy on Saturday

St. Aloysius softball team took home a 2-1 win over Clinton Christian Academy on Saturday at the Tri-County Tournament.

The Lady Flashes came up with seven hits in the victory, scoring both of their runs in the third inning.

Kyleigh Cooper, Lydia Nettles, Ali Grace Luke, Abby Mikulski and Meagan Theriot all had hits. Luke led at the plate by going 2 for 3 with two RBIs.

Cooper stepped up and aided the team with nine strikeouts while going 2 for 3 at the plate with one run score.

Lilli Parniciaro also drove in a run score which contributed in the victory.

The Lady Flashes will travel to play Greenville St. Joe on Monday.
