Family Coping Program

The Heart Child Family Coping program will take parents/carers on a journey of hope, empowerment, and resilience.

Program for Parents/Carers of children with a heart condition
Two x half day sessions
Run by Health Care professionals and HeartKids Family Support Coordinators and evaluated by staff at the University of Melbourne
Couples are encouraged – individuals are welcome.

The program will explore various issues associated with raising a child with a heart condition in a safe and supportive environment. The program aims to expand your family’s coping skills and help your family develop resilience in difficult times.

Bendigo Sessions:
Saturday 22 July and Saturday 5 August 9:00am – 1:00pm

Geelong Sessions:
Saturday 29 July and Saturday 12 August 9:00am -1:00pm
